Phil finished draging in wheat. Fred cutting potatoes. Put up a pigs yard. Omitted settling down in part on Stuart's account 1.101/2 d. on the 14th. Thursday 17th. Fine but cool. Dragging. potatotes planting, levelling. Cleaning out cellar. 8 bushels of potatoes planted. Thrashing. barley, sowed some: Friday 18th. Fine, warm, wind easterly by South. Finished thrashing barley. 6 bushels. Cleaned up barley oats 31/2 and wheat 6 bushels. Levelling and burning brush. Finished sowing and dragging in barley. 3 bushels. Took the pigs off, last of them. 1 Dozen herrings of of Goble 71/2 d. N.P. Saturday 19th. Fine. warm. 10 herrings of Iden Goble 71/2 d burning brush clearing up straw and stuff now Just laid riders on fence. next road fetched two barrels home from sugar boiling place. got barley straw home. Phil hunting oxen all the morning draging in afternoon, took sleigh [[harness?]] Sunday 20th. Fine. Monday 21st. Fine and warm. Burning brush, cutting fence logs. Sowed some oats, draging, had one bushel of oats of J. Goble which makes goods in kind had he wishes to be repaid in oats after harvest. One trout of Iden Goble 1 shilling N.P. Tuesday 22 Fine and warm. Burning brush. chopping fence logs, draging, half a dozen herrings of Iden. Wednesday 23rd. Thunder and rain in morning fine and hot during the day. chopping up trees, burning brush. Making fence between Stuart and me. Phil and me at Stuarts logging 121/3 of Ground of Iden at 3 cents per lb. Mother went to Store spent for shirting and one pound of coffee 1.4 9d. Thursday 24th. Fine and pleasant.
