Fri. 6th. Taught School till noon. Edith came over at recess stayed till noon. She got a letter from John who has left The Persia & intends to ship from Cleveland with Will, Carpenter & Alex Henderson. I picked berries in afternoon till a shower came & stopped us about 5 o'clock. Sat. 7th. Packing berries all morning. Helped Maria by sewing lace on my dress in afternoon but we did not finish dress as
