dresses. Ella McKay came home with M. L. who then went home with Ella again for company but came back again.
Sun. 15th. Raining so wore our old dresses to S.S. & Church. Mr. Leek preached a lovely sermon for Psa. I. 15. All stayed to class. After tea Ernest came with horse & buggy & took Nettie & I up to Appleby Church. Got there in time to hear the closing part of sermon. Sat away up in front seat. Saw Alf. & Bumby's. Drove up to William Lucas's after Church as Er: wanted to see his cousin Melville. Deed. Alton & some others there. He played as we all sang some hymns. A lovely drive home by moon-light. The dampness straightened my feather again.
Mon. 16th. Straw-berry picking again. Ms & I pick goose berries in afternoon. Ada Johnson & Alice Garneau here. I gave Alice her school prize which Mr. Rymal left in my care. Ida & Nettie went to Bronte with them.
