Charles and I ready for bed when door bell rang - Dorothy came home without sending word. Has hay fever badly and so feels Miserable. Hope she will soon be better. Wednesday Sept. 8th. Nice day. Went down for Meat. Did a part of a probate and three or four letters & a Resolution for Charles. Did not finish until noon. Then had a little talk with Dorothy. Did my short-hand, and went down town with Dorothy. Store and dress makers. Went to Dr. Rannie's & got some oil for Dorothy's nose & an inhaler at Davey's but inhaler refused to work. After tea went down to the office to draw an agreement for
