Friday Sept. 10th Warm. Looked like rain but did not rain. Went down for meat. Typed 18 pages of a Brief for Charles. Walked around the five mile block. Wrote to Mrs. Nasmith (not sent) and to Miss Thompson re Mrs. Nasmith's letter to Dorothy about her unsuitability for the Residence. Dorothy went to show with Mar. McDonald. Wat Krug quite ill in Waterloo. Had his tonsils out & bad hemourage (hemorrhage}. Duncan came up in the evening and he, Charles and I played Seven-Up. Saturday Sept. 11th. A little shower this morning. Typed the other 11 pages of Palmer-Bruce Brief. Worst letters I ever tried to copy. Typed a couple of poems for Dorothy & wrote letter for her sending "Sunset
