Sunday Sept. 12th.
Bad electrical storm in the night and some hail. Nothing in garden destroyed. Hot day. Went to church morning & night good sermons - & to church school. The hour was changed from 2.30 to 2 as Mr. Robinson's funeral which was to be at 3.30 was advertised for 3 & Mr. Tuer had to take the service and Charles was one of the pall bearers. Dorothy stayed home afternoon & evening. Wrote a poem "The Passing of Love" After church. Mr. Farney came over to show us a Lusitania Medal taken from a
