Friday October 1st. Wetter than wet & cool. Went down for Meat and to Bank with s.s. money. Met Mr. Kellerman (also went to Enterprise office with letter, re Mrs. Ferguson Fund, to be printed) on way home. He insists on having an S.S. report for Elderslie s.s. association. (Missed me in Summer - did not send me a form) came home and prepared report. Worked at my tray cloth for two hours and a half. Snowing - real snow too. Dorothy was down at McDonald's for a couple of hours. I went down town about 5 p.m. to get some things. Still snowing. As leaves are all in trees, the snow is bending them right over. The Manse apple trees are badly broken and between Biehn's and Davey's ever so many big limbs are down. Electric wires broken in some places but our lights came on shortly after 5. This was our Fair Day but the weather was so bad the Fair was postponed until next year. The Concert - Rupert Legate Co. was on.
