Beautiful Day. At 8.30 a.m. Charles, Dorothy and I went to Walkerton. Charles had to go. Dorothy and I went to the fur store and bought 2 squirrel skins to make a crown for her hat. Then got some books at McCrum's; Went up to call on Mrs. Greig and then went to Dr. Sinclair's where Charles joined us and we all had dinner. Had a lovely drive back. Trees are beginning to turn, fall wheat is coming up and the country is beautiful. Dorothy went at once to get ready to go to a 'shower' at Alma Halliday's for Margaret Davison who is to be married this month. I went down town and got her a Royal Doulton tray to take with her. Went down to Tuer's to enquire for Mrs. Tuer who has been ill with Summer Flu. After tea Dorothy went to Bijou with Viola Mair & Lynda Simpson. I wrote to Clare and to Mrs. Sinclair to send her
