Went down for meat in the morning. darned Dorothy's stocking. Went down after dinner for Dorothy's dress. helped her pack. Made sandwiches for she her and Doug. Went to the station with them to start them on their way to Toronto. Closed up sleeping porch for winter on my return to house and tidied up Dorothy's room. Ferna Halliday spent a couple of hours with us in the evening. Wrote to Frank and Nell Macpherson. Thursday Jan. 6th. Nice day. Cooler. Went down to Miss Milne's with Dorothy's evening cloak and fitted on my old Jersey cloth dress. After dinner went down to get a New Year's card for Mrs. Ryan as I
