Sent her some flowers. went with Mrs. Leitch to Mrs. M.A. Halliday's where Ferna, Mrs. Halliday, Mrs. Leitch, Mrs. Ferguson, who came in, and I had afternoon tea. Then Mrs. Leitch and I went to see Mrs. Beattie who has been ill with La grippe. I took down a lot of work for Charles which I am to type in the morning. Wrote to Clare, Dorothy, Jamie Atkinson and Maude Halliday. Charles posted them at the station for me. Friday Jan. 7th. Mrs. Ryan went to Listowel on the early train and Mrs. Green got the meals & did the work. Did the work in connection with Sale of town hall. Proxies, Notices of Meetings, Bylaws, etc. Went down town after dinner to dress Maker's. Typed 3 copies of "The Chronicle of the Sea Gull."
