Vintage (girl in wine color) were very good. So was Gavotte, Chinese Fantasy (Chinese Boy & girl & Musician) and the gypsy Beggar Dance was very good - camp scene quite picturesque. Elocutionist gave a capital imitation of a small boy singing "Tipperary." She changed "Opistah" to a Gypsy Setting & recited it as a gypsy Story (she being the Storyteller of the gypsy camp.) All quite a change for Chesley concert & therefore very enjoyable.
Saturday Feb. 12th.
Beautiful Sunshiny Morning but rather gray by noon. Went down for meat, and wrote a 4 page letter to Mr. Bell for Charles (Typed) Duncan was up. Mr. Tuer was here for dinner.
