came over in the evening. Wednesday Tuesday Feb. 20th. Was at the office all day. At noon hunted up some mat weaving & basket-making tools (?) for Isabel. Called at Mrs. M.A. Halliday with a book at Noon. Went to see Mrs. Hooper in the evening and took her some arrowroot. Stormy to-day and quite cold at night but no too bad. Thursday Wednesday Feb. 24th. Went to the office. In the evening went to the Scotch supper. About 400 there. Choir gave the programme and it was very good. Charles gave an address on "Scotland." As Mr. Tuer was ill Charlie was Chairman. M.A. also gave an address and Misses Millar, Stevens and McCullough gave readings and I read "The Enchanted Shirt". Cold night.
