After s.s. went over to see Mrs. Hooper, Marguerite is home. Mrs. Hooper cheerful as usual. After church, Alice, Charlie and Margaret were up. Neither Julius nor I went to church at night. Monday Mch. 7th. At the office all day. Went to a ladies' party at Mrs. Caldwell's in the evening. Took my work. About 20 or more there. Some one (Mrs. Beattie I suspect) annexed my tray cloth while I was buttoning my own or Mrs. Cruickshank's spats. Has not turned up yet.
