Helped Mrs. Ferguson awhile and went to store & came home with her.
Sunday Mch. 6th.
Went to church in the Morning and to S.S. Very slippery walking. After s.s. went over to see Mrs. Hooper, Marguerite is home. Mrs. Hooper cheerful as usual. After church, Alice, Charlie and Margaret were up. Neither Julius nor I went to church at night.
Monday Mch. 7th.
At the office all day. Went to a ladies' party at Mrs. Caldwell's in the evening. Took my work. About 20 or more there. Some one (Mrs. Beattie I suspect) annexed my tray cloth while I was buttoning my own or Mrs. Cruickshank's spats. Has not turned up yet. Julius was a Judge at the Oratorical Contest in the Baptist Church. Subject: League of Nations. Evangelical, Methodists & Baptist: Charlie Krug won. Anderson girl second & Grace Wilkins third. Mild. thawing.
