for Hamilton to begin life in Head Office of the Bank of Hamilton. Jack McDonald, Lindsay Milne & Roy Reid also went back to Toronto to school. Miss Evans ( H.S. Teacher) came off train. Walked around with her to Mrs. Dobie's. Worked at type writer for about four or five hours for Charles. Went down town for some Probate & Administration forms. Went to station for afternoon train to say good bye to Florence Halliday. Finished my typing and took it down to the office. After tea went over to M.A.'s to say good-bye to Mrs. Robt. Halliday who leaves on early train for Hamilton to see Bert who is in the sanatarium. From there she goes back to Ottawa. Margaret McLauchlan there. Charles went to High School Board Meeting and then called at M.A's for Me. Mr. Halliday came home on late train. About noon Nell telephoned that Dorothy was not on train and had not arrived. Later telephoned to say that the Palmerston Limited had not waited for their train & she reached Toronto about 1.30. & was then (2 3 o'clock) at Nell's.
