Jen. King called. From there I went down to Leitch's to get some flowers Then home to do some more school work. Charles went to last prayer meeting of week of Prayer & held in Anglican Church. Wrote to Miss McEachran.
January 10 (Saturday)
Snowing again and fairly cold. Washed my hair this morning. Did some work for Charles. Wrote to Clare, to Frank, (who is now in Santa Monica, Cal. and I trust it may mean that he will recover his health) and to Aunt Maggie who writes that Dora is ill - nerves - very bad- Which may mean anything. She has been in a couple of nursing homes and a hospital in Toronto in charge of Dr. Gaven but is now in Fenelon in charge of a nurse. Aunt Maggie thinks she is improving. Her husband is, I suppose, still in Cobalt. Tweet is home on furlough but will, I suppose, go back in Spring to China. Alma Halliday is in Guelph Sanatarium and Bert in the Hamilton Sanatarium.
