1920. very hard in afternoon. Made a box for Armenian tag day for Cavell Girls Club. Ripped Silver trimming off Dorothy's yellow evenong dress to see if it would do for my purple dress. Wrote an address for the Ladies aid who are to present Mrs. Tuer with $100 to-night. Charlie, who is going to Walkerton to-morrow morning, gave me some dictation after tea. Then typed address to Mrs. Tuer and went to Manse to a Meeting of Cavell Girls to get ready for Tag Day on Saturday. About 8.30 14 Members of the Ladies' aid arrived, the Girls' Club went home. The presentation was made and address read and Nrs. Tuer replied in very short speech. Mr. Tuer replied somewhat more lengthily when he came home from Boy's Meeting. Had a regular McGaw Street evening. Came home about 11.30. Snowing hard & snow getting quite deep. Charles in bed. Got to bed at 12.50 p.m. Slept outside. January 14th. (Wednesday) Got up at 5.30.
