1920 Church Charlie, Alice, Duncan & Isabel came up for awhile. slept inside. February 2 (Monday) Beautiful Mild day. Did some work for Charles and typed out points in debate, "Resolved That the Senate Should be Abolished" for Miss Evans who is on the Negative. Read "The Clash." Went up to see Mother and called to see how Mrs. McGregor was. Mother out but saw her go to Mrs. McGregor's so walked down there and walked back with brother as far as Kyle's. Wrote an address for Mr & Mrs Cruickshanks. Went there with McGaw Street Gang. Typed the address and put it together with 13 paper fasteners, (13th anniversary of their wedding last Saturday) took 13 Scotch Mints each wrapped in paper in a box. The box was wrapped in 13 papers. We got them a work basket with 13 articles in it. Met at Nolan's. Charles only stayed an hour as he was going to Walkerton in the morning on the early train. Had a good time. Slept outside again. Thawing in the afternoon. Roads Soft.
