1920 Number with her so I left the envelope open until Morning. Slept outside as milder by night. Practised ½ hour. Read "The Clash." February 5 (Thursday) Lovely day. Went down for meat in the Morning and called at Leitch's to enquire after Mrs. Leitch who is still away. Got 5 tons of soft coal in to-day. Went over to Mr. Wark's to get him to shovel way in for team - the snow is so deep. Did 8 Copies Letters of administration and 5 Probates for Charles. Mr. Tuer called to bring some literature to Charles for an address he is to give in Walkerton on Monday night. Took my work down to the office and while there got three letters to write. Just finished a few Minutes after 6. Read The Globe and practised 3/4 of an hour. Read "The Clash". Slept out. February 6 (Friday) Fine day, almost like Spring. Wrote a letter for Charles to David Savage in Central America reporting fore. (He owns Wright store) Read "The Clash". Mrs. Meuser called and stayed for about an hour.
