1920 investigating. (Silly things) After tea I went over to Mrs. Beattie's to see Miss Bridgman, the new High School Teacher who is Supplying for her sister until March 1st. Found she was rooming at Mrs. Crow's so Mrs. Beattie and I went down there to see her calling in At the Public Library on the way down. Got our clock back to-night (Charles went down for it) We missed it very much while it was gone. February 8 (Sunday.) Fine day - not so cold. Went to Church twice and to S.S. Wrote to Frank. Charles was preparing an address (Forward Movement) for a banquet at Walkerton to-morrow and so did not go to S.S. I typed some quotations for him before I went to S.S. I also had to select the hymn slides as Mr. M.A. is in Toronto. After Church Mr. & Mrs. Tuer Miss {Brownlee?} & Charlie and Alice came up. I made sandwiches before I went to church. February 9. (Monday) Slightly colder to-day but very pleasant. Typed the letters I got at the office on Saturday and took them down to the office. After
