February 22 (Sunday)
No church or Sunday School. Seemed a very long day. Beautiful sunshiny day with a little feeling of spring in the air. I read "The Last Hope" by H. Seton Merriman. Went out and shovelled snow from outside sidewalk. Was out an hour and a half altogether. Charles had neuralgia in his head again. After 2. p. m. I hope it may soon be better. Charlie and Alice were up in the evening. They had walked around a five mile block in the Afternoon, (had the 6 children with them) Charlie is going to Toronto in the morning. Wrote to John Hewitt and his Mother.
