1920. February 28 Saturday.
Did Some work for Charles. Mr. Bell called and began discussing Forward Movement and it was 11 o'clock before Charles got away to the office. It is now 3.30 p.m. and he has not yet got home to dinner. Still cold and snowing steadily. Drifting some Noon train got in about 2 o'clock. Took Charles down a Thermos bottle of bovril and some soda biscuits. office still full of people. Went up to see Mother. came home, shovelled the walk and took some papers over for Mr. Black. It was after seven when Charles got home for his tea. Tried to get started on a paper of Miss Florence Kirchener's but found it hard work. Practised an hour. Quite frosty so slept inside.
February 29th Sunday.
Still no church. Walked up the hill with Charles in the morning. Fine day but still enough frost to make the snow crack. Wrote the paper on "What a Horticultural Society could do for a Small Town. Then we over to Mrs. Beattie's to read it to her. She approved. Charles went to Biehn to see Fred W.
