Bell When leaving the church. Returned to hotel where we had a chat in the sitting room with Miss Doyle, the proprietoress. Got to bed about 12. p.m. March 3rd. Wednesday Had breakast with the Bells at hotel. We all called on Davena & Matie Ritchie. Charles went to attend to some business. Mrs. Bell and I went to the drug store for some tooth-paste and then visited Miss Bell's School. We went to the Kindergarten and saw the children play. Then visited the Manual Training Room & the Domestic Science room Where a sewing class was in session. Then visited Miss Bell's room where she had the children read for us. She must be some teacher for they read splendidly (2nd Bk "The Cricket and the ant.") We visited Jessie McTavish's room where the kiddies sang for us. Then we visited the Art Teacher's room and saw some very good work done by pupils from 2nd Bk up to Entrance Class. Also called at Mr. Shaw's (Principal) room.
