church to hear Mrs. Moore Sing and arrived at the house before Charles did, who came along later from the Presbyterian church. Thunder storm with quite bright lightning and a great deal of wind.
March 29th. Monday
Very windy and quite cool. Did the entries and the house work. Went to dinner at the McDonald House and dined with Halliday's again. Practised an hour. Wrote to Ferna. Mr Furney called to see about a band concert. Kept me late getting tea, After tea Mr. Moss came over to re-cover the library couch. Cleared up the rest of the papers that were under it. Mrs. Ryan got home on the late train. Very cold & windy. Snowed at 6 o'clock and throughout evening.
March 30th. Tuesday.
Went down for meat. Got a table cloth ready to hem. Wrote to Miss Small. Just after dinner fire bell rang and King's Whistle blew furiously. Very windy & cold. It looked very serious for awhile but am glad to see they got
