stopped to go to the station to say good-bye to Laura Halliday. came back with Miss Leslie and Mrs. Tuer who came in for awhile, then finished up my typing and took the work to the office and did some shopping. Left my picture letter at Mrs. Biehn's - came home, having forgotten to call for it so went back down. Got supper ready for Dorothy and Mr. Douglas Nickle who are to arrive on the late train. Wrote 14 post cards (absurd views labelled "in, near, vicinity of Chesley etc." to be sent to Clare - one each mail till all gone. Duncan was up for a couple of hours. Went to train to meet Dorothy - left the house when it was 50 minutes late. Walked up and down the platform with Charles 3/4 of an hour before the train arrived. Had some time finding Dorothy and Dug in the crowd. They had supper. Doug and Charles went to bed. Helped Dorothy (who has her broken hand in splints) to take a bath and we got to bed about half past one. Quite windy and cool.
