Mr. Beattie driving. When we got to Walkerton went to the green House and ordered geraniums, salvia etc. and got some roses for Mrs. Caldwell. Then went up to the hospital to see Mrs. Caldwell. Took her the roses and a book. Found her quite bright and cheerful. Passed through Formosa, Bellmore, Jamestown and About a half a mile from Wroxeter. When we got to Brussels Mr. Ross insisted that we go to his father's. Miss Anna Ross very ill. Mrs. Smith (sister) in charge of home. Her husband died in the Spring and her nephew since then. Mr. Ross & Miss Ross of Kincardine there also. He went to see the Chicken farm and saw the chickens hatching in the incubator and a little girl packing day old chicks in pasteboard boxes for shipment all over the country. 25 in a box and she just put them in like eggs. Went for a drive around town in the afternoon with Dr. Geo. Ross (dentist) from Wingham. Started home about 7.30. Got here at 10.30. Mr. Beattie went to Mitchell races so we had
