Went down after dinner for the Mail and to Miss Milne's to see about getting a dress made. Forgot to take some money down so went back with it. Meeting of Soldiers' Memorial Committee here in the evening - M.A. Halliday, Mr. Bell & Charlie. Decided to have a canvass of the town. Wrote 3 letters for Charles. Wednesday June 9th. Helped Charles with Forward Movement report. Directed Mr. Clifton and helped him put in the foliage plants. Went down town for the Mail and some messages. Played tennis with Duncan. Went to Mrs. Beattie's and Mrs. Ferguson's, Smellies'. Mrs. Elliot's Biehns' and Leitch's to invite them for to-morrow night - having Mr. Jas. Smellie here. Had ice cream.
