Mr. M.A. H. played the piano. Mr. Chas. Smellie recited "Tam-o-Shanter", Mr. Leitch sang, Mr. Bell & Mrs. Jas. Smellie made speeches. Thunder storm which delayed the ice cream so was quite a wait between courses. Everybody seemed to have a good time. Charles feeling very tired. Duncan helped serve. Mrs. Green helped Mrs. Ryan. Party - Mr. & Mrs. M.A., Mr. & Mrs. Bell, Mr. & Mrs. Leitch, Mr. & Mrs. Beattie, Mr. & Mrs. Chas. Smellie, Misses Smellie, Mrs. Ferguson, Miss Elworthy, Mrs. Biehn, Mrs. Elliot, Mother, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Crow. Charlie and Alice, Mr. James Smellie. Broke up about 11.30 p.m.
