and then went to McDonald's to see Eva's clothes and presents. House very nicely decorated with peonies etc. Eva's clothes also very pretty. Typed part of "Six cups of chocolate" for Blanche Gillies. Went to train to meet Dorothy and as usual it was midnight when we got to bed. June 17th. Thursday Cleaned Dorothy's pink linen dress as well as I could for her to wear to Eva McDonald's wedding. Her trunk not here yet. Went to Cobean's and bought a butter dish for a wedding present. Worled at office until Noon - half holiday. Dorothy went to wedding to help wait or serve. Tied up vines and did some other work in the garden. Mrs. McDonald borrowed my sherbet glasses. Called at Miss Milne's. Miss Annie Milne's and at Mrs. Caldwell's to fix her up. Then dropped into Tuer's to enquire how Mrs. Rae was. Very poorly but Dr. Middlebro did not operate.
