Wednesday June 30th. Shampooed my hair. practised 3/4 of an hour. Finished Dorothy's pink sash. Went to Mrs. Crow's for my lesson. Mr. Tuer & Miss Leslie playing tennis with Dorothy. Went down to Mrs. Caldwell's but Mr. Caldwell was sitting on verandah so will go down after tea to look at wound. Dr. Glover's cancer serum is making a great stir all over the world. Mr. J.C. Milne is making arrangements to send Miss Annie Milne down to be treated. Next over to enquire for Miss Annie Milne. Then went to Fry's to see about getting car but they were all out. Went to Mrs. Caldwell's but she had company. Helped Dorothy make sandwiches and prepare a lunch for Doug Nickle who is to come on the late train. Went to the station to meet Doug. Thursday July 1st. Mr. McNeel asked us all to go to Southampton. Went down to the office to get some money for Charles. Charles went over to see Miss Annie Milne before she
