left for Toronto. I went down to Mrs. Caldwell's. Started for Southampton about a quarter to 11. Went to Patk Hotel first Where found Nell and Doug and Clare. All had dinner there (Nell, Doug, Clare, Charles, Dorothy, Doug Nickle and Myself.) Tom Neelands out fishing and they dined up town. Went to see Leitch's in their cottage, then down to Sandend cottage Where the Neelands and Clare are located. Spent the afternoon lying on the Sand. Margaret Neelands, Dorothy and Doug Lillico went in for a swim. Went back to Hotel for tea. Dorothy & Doug Nickle going with the Neelands. Started home with Mr. McNeel at 9 p.m. Dorothy & Doug Nickle stayed for the dance and came home with Wat King, Mar. McDonald, Roy Reid and Pearl Buckley. Thunder storm in the night. Nell and Doug gave us all the fish they had caught and we weighed them when we got home - 4 lbs & 13½ ozs. altogether. Friday July 2nd. Had to type interview with Miss Pollock
