Dorothy and Florence Leslie played tennis. I weeded awhile and then decided to go to Mother's but my foot was sore & when I met Mrs. M.A. & I got her to come back with me. Sat on verandah, ate lollipops & talked. Dorothy, Florence, Charkes, Mrs. M.A. & I . Then I went over with Mrs. M.A. to shiw M.A. list of pupils in Mrs. Ferguson's class which I had spent most of the morning preparing. Saturday July 10th. Hot day. Went down for meat. Came home and went down to Caldwell's. Found Mrs. Caldwell out. Did a great bunch of mending and knit a sleeve for Dorothy's orange sweater. Typed 5 copies of a Probate for Charles. Took it down town. Charlie had seen Dr. Rannie and he thinks Dr. McLaughlin is wrong and that there is no hardening of the arteries. Felt much happier and somewhat relieved of the shadow. Dorothy had Ethel Reid, Mar. McDonald & Viola Mair here playing tennis. Jack, Wat & Stan turned up
