Thursday July 22nd.
Made a pink satin camisole for Dorothy and did some darning. Cut suckers of {off} tomatoes while Charles and Mrs. Ryan staked and tied them up. Went over to the park to see Jack McDonald & Mr. Caldwell play tennis. (Before that went to Post Office for Mail as half holiday at office.) The pole broke so they came here to finish their game. Got them some lime juice. After tea called at Biehn's to ask Mrs. Biehn to got to Brown's. Mr. Fry drove Charles, Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Biehn and me out to Mr. Walter Brown's as Mrs. Shouldice going away to-morrow to attend the christening party. Waited for ceremony - Baby Lloyd William. After we got home I went to Leslie's with gift for Indian box. Heard Florence on Tuer's verandah so walked up with her. Visited with Mrs. Leslie and Florence and Marion walked home with me. Wrote note of congratulation to Duncan.
