Put putty on some window frames. Kept at it all afternoon until about four o'clock when I went up and cleaned up the shavings out of my room where Jack had been fitting sashes. Charles got back with Charlie about 2 o'clock. Continued putty work until dark. Worked at my new centre piece in evening. Saturday July 31st. Wrote to Mrs. Green and to Stan.
