Leaving for Detroit for visit with Marion Buell and then going straight from there to Toronto.) And to Miss McNaughton for Mrs. McGregor. went down town for Meat. Went down in the afternoon for Mail and went around to Mrs. Ferguson's to deliver a letter from Bert Halliday enclosed in one to me. Saw Mrs. Beattie, who came over with me and we discussed flowers & flower seeds. After tea wrote to Mr. Mulligan and to Julius. Tuesday April 5th. Mrs. Beattie came over in the Morning & we spent an hour or more arranging flowers for my perennial borders. After dinner I went over there to complete list of plants & seeds. Mrs. Mair called.
