room, helped get out dishes bring down tables, arranged flowers etc. Then went down town for ham etc. At party (postponed on account of Frank's illness) Mr. & Mrs. Caldwell, Mr. & Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Leitch (Mr Leitch away). Dr. & Mrs. Mair, Mrs. Biehn, Mrs. Safana, Charlie, Alice, Grace Steven, Mr. & Mrs. Cobean, Mr. & Mrs. Beattie. (Dr. Biehn & Mr. Leitch away who were to be at other party and Alice & Grace took their places.) Had a nice time. Thursday April 28th. Beautiful day. Mrs. Beattie was here in the Morning and we planned out flowers etc. Then I went down there to return her cards. Planted My pink and blue border. Went to Johnston's at 3 o'clock for my elocution letter{lesson?}. Called at Crow's, Wilson's, Mc Donald's. Sanderson's, Davey's and at Dobie to invite Miss Evans and at Milne's to invite Miss Millar to a party to-morrow night.
