Mr. Sears was here for tea. I superintended Mr. Phillips Who planted My yellow and purple border. Wrote to Clare and Dorothy. Friday April 29th. Rained all day and in evening. Busy in the Morning selecting the questions for examination papers for party. Went down town to do some shopping. After dinner typed the exam. papers. Helped make the sandwiches (had to go down town for more ham) and fix up boxes (lunch) and paper them up for my School party. Fixed flowers and got tea and ready for guests. Present: Mr. & Mrs. Wilson (H.S. Principal) Miss Millar & Miss Evans (of H.S. Staff) (Miss McCullough away for week end). Mrs. Leitch (Mr L away) and Mrs. Crow. Charlie and Alice, Mr. & Mrs. Sanderson, Mr. & Mrs. Davey, Mr. & Mrs. McDonald, Mr. & Mrs. McNeel, and Mrs. Beattie came to help me. Had Chocolate bars (9 kinds 2 of each) for selecting partners.
