a Success and everybody had a good time. Alice and Mrs. Wilson won 1st prize (Box of Lemon and raspberry drops and a note book) and Mr. McNeel and Mr. Sanderson the booby (scribbling books.) Saturday April 30th. Much cooler to-day. Still cloudy. Darned my Stockings. Went down town for Meat. Duncan was up. "Lily" Bunn leaves to-day as she is not a success in the office. Went to the office in the afternoon. After tea called at the Manse to see Mrs. Smith who goes back to Toronto on Monday Morning & then went down to Public Library to change some books and stayed to help Mrs. Ferguson until closing time. Sunday May 1st. Quite Cold. Was wishing I had not put my fur coat away. Went to Church twice and to S.S. Called to see Mrs. Hooper after S.S. and found
