Went to the Station with Mrs. Beattie to take an express parcel up and then came home to find Duncan here as usual on Friday night. Saturday May 14th. Cool. Went for Meat in the morning which I send up with Jamie Thomson. Went to the office. Did a good day's work. At noon planted some flower seeds. After tea Mrs. Beattie came over and we planted about half our seeds in the back garden. Then went up to Mother's and took up Margaret's book as her birthday to-morrow. Mother not there so we called at Faulkness's to see Mother. Left Mrs. Beattie at Lustig's Where I got Milk and bacon.
