Friday May 20th. Very warm. Went to office for awhile in the Morning. Margaret got up at 11 o'clock. Typed my letters at home after dinner. Tied up clematis. Margaret and I went for a walk. Went to Mrs. Beattie's before tea. Wrote to Clare & Dorothy. After tea watered my borders. Duncan was up and Mr. Parsons demonstrating the Hoover sweeper which Julius purchased. Saturday May 21st. Went down for Meat and did the entries, some letters and some filing at the office. In the afternoon Margaret and I went for a walk and after tea I planted some flower seeds and played tennis in Duncan's place until he came. (Miss Leslie, Julius & Mr. Caldwell the other three) Mrs. M.A. & Mr. M.A. called to see Mrs. Hewitt amd Mrs. Caldwell called also. Went to Public Library for awhile to help Josie Stanley. Charlie had a wire from Adelaide Saying Frank worse.
