Wednesday June 29th. Very hot day. Knit 26 rows on Dorothy's sweater and finished one front. Took some arrowroot over to Mrs. Hooper who has not been so well. Went to the office in the Morning and went back for awhile in the afternoon. Went around to Leslie's to get Florence to come & play tennis. I watered the flowers while Dorothy, Florence, Mr. Caldwell & Mr. Mickle played. Dorothy and I went to hear the Napierville College Glee G Club. Very good. Thursday June 30th. Got up at 5.50 a.m. & went to station to see Charlie away to N.Y. and Duncan Toronto. Charlie to drive back with Jack & Clare. Weeded in vegetable garden (with Charles) for an hour before breakfast. At 9. a.m. Dorothy and I started for Walkerton with Charles & Mr. Beattie. While Charles attended Mothers' Pension Meeting Dorothy & I
