F 10th. Salter working at his pease. Christian & Davidson also. Carted five loads of wheat from the field next Craigs.
S 11th. Davidson finished cutting his three acres of pease. Carted five loads more of wheat from the field next Craigs. Cut 13 stooks of wheat in Phils lower field.
M 13th Mr J Goble planeing, flooring etc. Salter cutting pease
T. 14th Mr J Goble working as yesterday. Salter cutting pease. Christian Ruhardt cutting pease. Fred chopping. Paid Sam Bruker his flour 70 lbs which we had from mill by mistake. Lent Christian Schwendker 100 lbs of flour. Sold MacLachlin 113 lbs of flour at 21/2 cts per lb. Sold James George 32 lbs of flour at 21/2cts. Sold Salter 98 lbs of flour at 21/2 cts. Paid back to James Stewart the flour I borrowed of him 167 lbs. Cut 23 stooks of wheat.
