William Staffords A/C for bricks and work in Roberts new house of $25.00 for chimney brick five hundred at half a Dolr. per hundred $2.50 My A/C against him 10 Bushls. of peace $6.50. One Trowell $1.00. Nine loads of brick at 371/2 cts. per load $3.371/2 cts. Settled by giving Stafford a Note payable on the first of December 1861 for the Sum of $16.63 cts with Six per. cent. Interest Fetched My Steers home from Craigs. 131 lbs of pease to John Goble with the bag. M. 10th. Made a bargain and signed an agreement with James Davidson for him to split me Three Thousand rails (Cedar) of the [[sire?]] and quality of those on my lower fence for the which I agree to pay him Twenty five Dolrs. Five this winter and Twenty on the 1st of October 1861 T 11th. Mr J Goble working in Bobs house. Received of Benjamin Shantz Esquire the sum of Two Dolrs on Fathers A/c W. 12th Mr John Goble working in Bobs house. F 14th. Davidson Pease 43 lbs. Paid mine and Roberts Taxes &19.18 cts.
