Pay Brown off in full to date. This should be Tuesday the 4th == JANUARY MONDAY 3 1876 == Get Buggy from {Waters?} & drive to StC to Draw at {SB?}. Make 2 Dfts on on TPH 1 at 54 ds & 1 at 64 ds for $1900 ca. Dis & stamps $65.34. I retain to apply on last months Expenditure $550.66 Send WPHe pr Ex5 $3184.00. & get Rx.{while Rx usually applies to prescriptions in the 20thc sense, here it appears to mean receipt} Don't have Bank Book it's in Toronto. 6 Wordon Comes back with msg get back at 5. Expenses $3.50, Caudy 40. We all go to Catholic concert, Ada plays with Miss Allison, get home at 11. Wife tells me about Warren Claus's second daughter 15 years old having a baby son by Alex McNicken of Manitoba. Was at Tannery all day Monday.
