Lovely spring morning,
Go to Tannery at 8½, Mis Haddock starts for Chicago, her Uncle sick, I send my cheque to Lyman Bros for $11934 to pay my note due on 19th, I pay H Paffards a/c $1525, A Daveys a/c $130, D Servos Coal a/c of Dec 29th $12960.
H Paffard tells me they found where Uncle John had paid more into Bank than he gave himself Cr for viz: $17500 or thereabouts. I got letter from F.M. Case. I sleep down stairs tonight. I write JB Pluent about Tariff on Leat Uncle John pays one 80 a/ for Old Carnochan for 2 Bus Lime.
