Write & mail TP&Co letter about shortage on Montrar Leat. {leather} Buy 50 cts postage stamps today, Rec from TP&Co per letter this day 1 Cheque $11853 to pay Coal a/c Rec'd, Mch 1st. == APRIL SATURDAY 8 1876 == Go to Tannery at 8. Get $47 from Woodington on Cheque of $125. He to pay balance on Tuesday. Mrs Courtney calls at 2 P.M. stays till 4, she tells me Bruk went to StC on Wednesday & wanted Crown Attn {attorney} IMcKeon to arrest she & I for Conspiracy. McKeon told him Mrs. Courtney was laying information against him for Arson. Bruk told him the House was not insured. Bruk put in a Claim for Insurance in his bill against Courtney; Doorley (Tom) serves me with Bill filed in Chancery against me by Bruk to break Mothers rent & on Tannery.
