Ed Scadding & Parsons come down to American this Eve'g & stay till 11. Ticket from Bridge $420, Dinner 50 cts. Ship McArthur 50 Hides 1532# @ 30 cts. I pay JWFletcher $2500 on Blake Kerr & Boyds a/c & dont take Rx. == APRIL TUESDAY 18 1876 == Go to Blakes office at 10 & have long consultation with JW Fletcher, go into all the Case with him. Buy Shoes for Wife & Baby at Hewitts & pay for them $200, order shoes for myself & dont pay for them, price $600. Meet Elijah Moore tanner from St Thomas at American Parsons have long talk.
