== MAY SATURDAY 13 1876 == Go to Tannery at 6. Find Hughs not at all right yet. Jno McMillan has {Bren?} the Constable up for assault. I am supoened also Hughs. see Hughs coming out of Welshs saloon. I tell him when I get back to Tanry I will pay him off Monday. He asks me to try him one week more. I promise. Leave Tannery at 9 P.M. Ian Hindle watches tonight. == MAY SUNDAY 14 1876 == C Hughs calls before I am up. I talk with him he is all right. I go to Church, Jessie McFarland dont {G?} Home. After dinner go to Tannery find all right Worden & Grale call, walk up together Ian Hindle dont watch tonight
