John Ewart comes over in {engine?} Boat Scadding & wife, Ada & Clara Ewart & wife & myself go to Hop at Royal this Eve'g. Mrs Ewart gets Phaeton from D Water this P.M. 4 o'clock. Ada drives her out. == JULY SUNDAY 23 1876 == Go to Church Scadding & wife go with wife & I. We take Communion. Scadding & I go to Royal in PM, see Will Sage & Lawder. then go to Tannery.
