== AUGUST FRIDAY 11 1876 == Go to Tannery at 7. Find Hughs lock'd up in Room. Steve Follet comes down & talks to Hughs He promises him to stop drink & go up to Meeting & get reinstated. Jno Murphy hands me $97 from McMillan procceeds of one of two Cheques I handed him yesterday to get Cash'd, the other is for $96, which he still holds. Hughs gets reinstated tonight Jim Kerr stays on Watch tonight. {August Saturday 12 1876 missing}
