== OCTOBER WEDNESDAY 4 1876 == Go to Tannery at 7½ remain all day, no Curriers yet. Make out Statement for Augst & Sep to take to Toronto tomorrow. C Parsons when over last promised to send Hides at once but no Hides yet. Limes all getting empty. == OCTOBER THURSDAY 5 1876 == Go to Tannery at 8. Take City & go to Toronto about Hides. Get 3 cheques from TP&Co 1 for $4078 & 2 for $50 each = $14078 Go up with Scadding to tea. Then go to C Parsons & stay till 11. Parsons foot cut. stay with Scadding all night. We trade Pipes. Get letter frm Blake Kerr & Boyd that Case is set for the 20th at StC. Go up & see Fletcher this P.M.
